Norwegian Jewel was delivered in 2005 as the lead ship of Norwegian Cruise Line’s Jewel class and constructed by Meyer Werft in Germany. Jewel began service with Caribbean and Panama Canal itineraries and has since expanded to Alaska, Northern Europe, and transatlantic routes. The ship remains active in the fleet, registered in Nassau, Bahamas, and underwent a major refurbishment in 2018.
