MS Fram

MS Fram is a purpose-built expedition ship operated by HX Hurtigruten Expeditions and designed specifically for polar regions. The vessel entered service in 2007 after construction by Fincantieri and carries roughly 200 to 250 guests, depending on the itinerary. The hull is ice-strengthened for polar exploration, and the interior features a science center, panoramic viewing areas, and Nordic-inspired accommodations. The vessel’s compact size offers strong maneuverability in remote Arctic and Antarctic environments.
