Emerald Star

Emerald Star was launched in 2014 as one of the first two Star‑Ships built for Emerald Cruises, alongside Emerald Sky. Star marked Emerald’s entry into the European river cruise market, constructed by Scheepswerf Den Breejen in the Netherlands. Star began sailing the Rhine, Main, and Danube rivers, helping establish Emerald’s reputation for modern, boutique river cruising. The introduction was essential in expanding the fleet, which grew rapidly across Europe in the following years.
